Join a three-day international workshop with peers from a variety of different disciplines and develop a Horizon 2030 research proposal focused on key societal challenges.

On 13-15 October 2026, the University of Montpellier organises the Cross-Border Doctorials 2026 in in the medieval city of Aigues Mortes, near the Mediterranean coast. The programme will include a series of workshops and group work on an innovative project with PhD students from different scientific fields, culminating in a pitch session.

Participants will be supported by experienced professionals – including researchers, European project coordinators, project evaluators, and intellectual property experts – providing support and practical tools for building a collaborative project and presenting ideas clearly and convincingly. The programme is open to all interested PhD students, and the University of Montpellier will fully cover the participation costs* for up to four PhD students of the CHARM-EU alliance (including ELTE).
